Josie Dye
JosieDye

HOST: Josie Dye is a fun, fearless female who says what she means and means what she says. She’s got a great sense of humour and can gab about everything from sex and relationships to style and shoes. She’s sexy and daring, but never crass, and her flirty and unapologetic ways make both men and women want to be around her.

It all started in Pickering for Josie. Growing up in a neighbourhood where backyards were huge and friends were plentiful. From an early age Josie knew that broadcasting would be her destiny. Radio became her healthy obsession, with Josie going so far as to taping her favourite DJ’s and re-recording her voice over top.

By the time she was 17, Josie was interning in radio. Close to her dream, but not close enough, Josie would spend her free time singing professionally around town, at one point opening for Jann Arden.

In a few short years Josie moved from one radio station to another, working her way up the broadcasting ladder.

In 2002 Josie was handed the midday announcer’s job at 102.1 The Edge. Seizing this golden opportunity, Josie made it her own, filling her show with not only great music, but engaging her fans with humorous, personal anecdotes and off beat contests. Her ratings have consistently been at the top, thanks in a large part to her strangle hold on listeners, male and female,18 to 35.

Never one to sit still, Josie has made the jump to television on the Cosmo Network where her quick will be put to good use.

When not working, Josie’s passions are peanut butter, sex, sports guys and music….. and trying to combine all four at once.

Wilder Weir
WilderWeir

CORRESPONDENT: Oh So Cosmo’s sexy male correspondent Wilder Weir is a Montreal native and son of former NHL player Wally Weir.

The 24 year old Libra spent his formative years at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, playing Division 1 hockey and in his spare time could be heard moonlighting as a CFRC sports commentator. Wilder graduated with a film degree and headed to Toronto to begin his career in broadcasting.

Wilder’s first television exposure came when he was featured on CBC’s Making the Cut in 2004. A year later he braved the fast-paced sports news room at TSN Sportscentre as a writer and story editor.

A man of many talents, Wilder has spent many a night doing stand-up comedy in front of the wild crowds at Yuk Yuks and has had the chance to perform at Montreal’s Bourbon Street comedy club and The Pittsburgh Improv.

Wilder’s sense of humor and no holds barred approach to production will be a great addition to the Oh So Cosmo team.

JuliaSeidl

STYLIST: Julia Seidl’s interest for fashion was clear at a young age as demonstrated by her Sunday night ritual of obsessing over Fashion Television (her parents couldn’t pry her away from the TV when Jeanne Beker was on camera).

While attending the University of Western Ontario, she honed her styling skills while reading Vogue in between business classes. Upon graduation, Julia moved to Toronto where she began her career in fashion working for international apparel company, Jones Apparel Group.

After several years of styling brands like Jones New York, Nine West and Anne Klein, Julia moved over to the business side of fashion to become a buyer for an international fashion accessories distributor working closely with brands like Betsey Johnson, BCBG, Roots and Nygard.

However her creative instincts got the best of her and she decided to combine her two true loves: fashion and writing to create Stylehog.com, an online guide to runway fashion on a budget. As seen on Cosmo TV, Entertainment Tonight, Breakfast Television and within the pages of Wish Magazine and The Globe and Mail, Stylehog.com is the ultimate how-to-guide to finding the latest runway trends at wallet-friendly prices.

A frequent contributor to Soapnet.com and Divine.ca, Julia is excited to style the team at Oh So Cosmo and bring the latest fashion trends to Cosmos’ fun, fearless viewers!
